Revisiting Campaign ...

Military campaign in future is expected to become more complex due to
cyber and network centric scenario, changing regional diplomacy vis a vis
engagement of multinational conglomerates, impact of media and social sites etc.
So, we need the institutional approach and forum to learn, share expertise and
exercise to face such forthcoming challenges together with other national
elements. Military training should not be cocooned within the domain of warfare
only. We need to focus on Social Command Centers integrating military, media
and other key elements of national power, grow interactions with the civil,
diplomatic and intellectual echelons. Undoubtedly, a good plan of war will
always demand the orchestrated efforts of all the echelons of a country.
